TRANSFERRING DATA WITH FTP

You can transfer data to the iHost system by using an FTP connection by opening an FTP Client. If there is no program, we recommend downloading the FileZilla Client. Once the program is opened, set the following parameters:

  • Host: ihost.it.kmitl.ac.th
  • Username: iHost account username (ITKMITL account username*)
  • Password: iHost account password (ITKMITL account password*)
  • Protocol: FTP
  • Click “Connect”.

* You can log in to iHost with the ITKMITL account only if you have synchronized the iHost account with the ITKMITL account.

If I cannot change iHost's password?

From 1 September 2020 onwards, you can use the iHost system with the ITKMITL account. This is effective only for students’ ITKMITL account. Other accounts or specific accounts can also log into iHost with their original iHost account.

If you do not want to synchronize your existing iHost account with your ITKMITL account, you can still log in to iHost with the same password. If you forget your iHost account password, you can use the iHost system by synchronizing your iHost account with the ITKMITL account.

IF my iHost account has suspended?

In general, a suspended iHost account is caused by an excess of storage space used. You can see the available storage size by the following steps.

  • Log in to iHost
  • Look at the Disk Space tab on the right, near Your Account area.

How long can my account be active?

You can use your iHost account as long as you study at ITKMITL. After you graduated, your account will be considered removed to provide resources for students who are still studying.

Other accounts or specific accounts will be considered on a case by case.
